This bearing copies the original cast iron bearing found on all Wolf machines. These bearings have a machined housing of mild steel.
The sides have a flat surface for the adjusting bolts, e.i. to tension transport belt.
This bearing should be used if the original bearing housing is broken and the replacement insert can not be used.
Most common places this bearing should be used is the chopper and transport belt rollers because tensioning bolts are used and the standard pillow block bearing will not perform well here.
